DTC P1602	Immobilizer/PCM communication error
DETECTION CONDITION	• Writing / reading immobilizer data in EEPROM - Error in reading or in checksum, two or more blocks incorrect
POSSIBLE CAUSE	• PCM malfunction

Diagnostic procedure


STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	-	-	Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)
2	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE • Perform the after repair procedure. (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].) • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
